I have a Cycas Revoluta about 2 and a half feet tall and its trunk diameter is about 6inchs. While transplanting in a pot some of roots are scratched and ripped off while dragging it. After 2 weeks some leaves turned yellow this forced me to cut about 20 leaves and now another set of leaves are turning yellow from bottom. I have pox mixture of 30% perlite and 70% sand and it drains well in pot through the hole. Will it stop yellowing or will it die?

Hi Donna. Many gardeners would love to have your problem. There is no other way then digging. If you post an ad on Graigs list telling people that you give it away for free, they will come over and digg it out. LOL. ~Susan Brian

I have a beautiful yard. Right now I have about 30 sable palms more than I want, since you have to seperate the new sprouts or you have a huge problem. Is there any other way to get theses palms out other than digging(which is no fun). Every year my 10 big ones sprount a few each So far I have jsut been sicking them in the ground, but now I have all sizes. Help the are getting out of control and I hate to just chunk them. I have given a few as gifts and the receiver loves them since they cost so much. Help
